Periodically, especially after making many changes or adding several products, you should back up your database. Use the "Backup" link to create a database dump copy. Save the file on your hard drive, then delete the file from your web site so that it is not visible to others.
To run a backup from your cPanel account, follow these instructions:
Click the Backups icon
Click Generate/Download a Full Backup
Under "Backups Available for Download", click the link with the file name of the backup.
It will then start to download.
Select a destination on your PC for where you would like to save it to.
Click Save
