The Boutique Store Builder displays all orders a few minutes after they come through in Store Admin > E-Store > Orders > View Orders.
If an order has been placed and you receive payment but it isn't showing up in your admin, there may be something wrong with your settings. If you haven't changed anything recently, visit your client area to open a ticket (please be sure to include your store admin and Mal's login details if they have been updated from the original) and we check everything over and process a test order for you to see if we can pinpoint the problem.
If you're sure that your settings are correct but notice that some orders are not showing up (and others are) or you have a lot of red orders listed in Mal's, it might be that customers are closing out the window before the payment processor and Mal's can communicate the details back to your site.
If this has happened to you, you should still be able to find your order and all customer details in Mal's. NOTE: If an order doesn't post back the only way to get it to display later will be to enter the details manually. You can copy and paste the information from Mal's in order to do this which will allow you to update the order and the customer to use tracking (if enabled).
To prevent this from happening in the future, you may find it useful to communicate clearly to your customers to click all the way through checkout and return to your site or you may not receive notice of their order.
Here is something that may help.
- Log into your Mals account.
- Under Cart Links, click on Cart Setup
- Click 'Other Messages and General Settings'
- Scroll down to where it says "Payment Message" and paste this snippet into the box.
If you are paying via Paypal, please continue all the way through the checkout process and return to our site. Otherwise, we may NOT receive your order.
- Then click Submit Changes.
