(UPDATED AT BOTTOM)

Big News For Your Website!

We are preparing to move all current clients to a much better datacenter on the night of Saturday, May 7th, 2016. Because of continuing connectivity issues at the datacenter currently hosting your server, we are upgrading everyone to a much improved network with greater capacity, incredibly stable connectivity, and improved infrastructure. This move is to a much nicer data center with a premium bandwidth blend and we are confident you will enjoy an increased level of service as the direct result of this move.

The new datacenter location, Steadfast Networks, is still in the same geographical area, and we intend to move all client servers physically from the old datacenter in West Chicago to the new datacenter in downtown Chicago.

This process will take place on the night of Saturday, May 7, between 10PM and 6AM (CDT, GMT-6). We do anticipate downtime since this is a physical server move, and we have allowed for up to eight hours in our downtime window. We do not expect the migration to take the full eight hours, but we urge you to plan accordingly just in case we run into any delays during the move.

If you have any questions about this upcoming move or anything else please open a ticket from your client area and a member of this staff will be happy to help.

Special note for clients that are currently utilizing a temporary URL: Your IP address will change during this upcoming move. This means that your temporary URL link will change and your store builder license code must be updated. To avoid downtime during this switch, please open a ticket to proceed with bringing your site live prior to the May 7th deadline or let us know that you need additional time to build and we will work with our team to get your site updated as soon as possible following the switch.

Rarely, designers will link your template images using the temporary URL. If you are concerned that this may the case with your website, open a ticket and we can check for you in advance. Otherwise, if you notice that your template images do not seem to display correctly following the update, you will want to contact your designer to update those links for you.

If you notice any problems following the switch our team will be on hand all weekend to assist. Please contact us for support.

UPDATE 05/07/2016

May 7, 2016 Maintenance Window Delayed

Due to a delay in IP transition and particular time constraints with IP routing adjustments from the old datacenter, we are pushing our scheduled maintenance for May 7 back until May 11. We are still evaluating the timeframe for the migration on May 11, and we will update you as soon as we have an extact timeframe for the migration to occur on May 11.

This does mean there will be no downtime tonight, May 7.

If you have any questions or need anything from our support team before, during, or after the migration, please open a ticket from your client area.
